Tim is the longarm quilter. He researched and chose an APQS Millenium for his work. His background in drawing, working
with machines and finesse with woodworking tools made him the natural choice for this type of service.

Preparing the Quilt:

  1. Work to ensure borders are as equal and flat as possible. Private lessons are offered at $10/hour for those in need of assistance. Advice is free. Email for handy hints.

  2. The backing needs to have an extra 3 inches, both top and bottom. Sides need to have an extra 2 inches on each side.
The backing should be straightened so the selvages hang parallel. Trim off all the selvages.

cotton thread in both regular sewing 50wt and quilting 25wt. Tim likes to use WonderFil "DecoBob" 80wt thread in the bobbin.
